Grounded on five Principles and six Enablers identified by WHOs 2023 Framework for meaningful engagement, the Lived Experience Integration audit supports teams in assessing how meaningfully lived experience is embedded within a program or organization.

We help identify where current approaches sit along a continuum, from traditional forms of consultation and participation toward more transformative approaches that share power, enable meaningful co-design, and strengthen the leadership and influence of people with lived experience, also known as Lived-Experience Contributors (LECs).
The audit helps support reflection, learning, and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to deepen lived-experience engagement, and create the conditions for more equitable, shared decision-making and empowerment. It is set up for a whole community assessment, as well as a young people and/or women focus where relevant.
