Community insights are often treated as personal narratives rather than valuable sources of knowledge, while health and social care strategies can remain buried in technical and professional language.

Without a clear bridge between lived experience and technical expertise, organizations struggle to translate community knowledge into practical strategies, programs, and services that create lasting impact.

What We Do

We connect direct lived experience, supporter perspectives, and practice-based expertise with decision-makers through bi-directional knowledge translation and inclusive co-design, turning diverse insights into actionable strategies, programs, and services.

Upward Knowledge Translation: We translate lived experience into actionable knowledge for staff, leaders, and decision-makers. Through qualitative narrative synthesis and coding, we transform community stories into system-level insights, journey maps, strategic briefs, guideline content, reports, and other practical resources that inform decisions and strengthen services.

Downward Knowledge Translation: We translate complex medical, technical, and professional information into clear, accessible language and engaging visuals that communities can understand and use for informed engagement. We tailor communication to the needs and contexts of lived-experience contributors and supporters, including youth, women, and other underrepresented groups.

Co-Design Workshops: We design and facilitate inclusive, trauma-informed sessions that bring lived-experience contributors, supporters, staff, and decision-makers together. Through tailored preparation and skilled facilitation, we support equitable participation, shared learning, and collaborative decision-making—turning diverse insights into practical, sustainable programs, services, and solutions.
